This website helps users compare the quality of care at different hospitals. It provides information on how well hospitals care for patients with certain medical conditions or surgical procedures, and also includes patient survey results about their quality of care during a recent hospital stay.

The Joint Commission
Quality Check® is the most comprehensive listing of healthcare organizations available today. You can search for healthcare organizations and view/download a quality report for all Joint Commission-accredited and certified organizations, which will display a Gold Seal of Approval.

Massachusetts Hospital Association
By using this site, patients can see how each hospital in Massachusetts meets agreed-upon national guidelines for 26 different measures relating to pressure ulcer prevalence, falls, falls with injury, heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical infection. Patients can track a particular hospital's efforts to meet the measure standards, and also see how a particular hospital compares to "peer" hospitals of the same size.

This site allows you to compare hospitals from across the country based on measures of evidence-based care, patient experience, readmission and mortality rates, and costs. You can also compare a hospital's performance with peer organizations and national benchmarks and find case studies and tools to help improve the quality of care.
